Morning (8:00 AM - 1:00 PM): The Terracotta Warriors

・8:00 AM: Start your day early. I highly recommend hiring a private car or a taxi for the ~1-hour journey to the Terracotta Army Museum. This gives you flexibility and saves precious time. Public transport is cheaper but much slower for a tight schedule.

・9:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Explore the Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum (Terracotta Army). Spend your time in the three main pits:
・Pit 1: The most impressive and largest, with thousands of life-sized soldiers and horses lined in battle formation.

・Pit 2: Shows the unearthed figures in various positions (archers, cavalry, infantry) and reveals the excavation process.

Lunch (1:00 PM - 2:00 PM): A Taste of Xi'an

・Enjoy lunch at a restaurant near the museum or ask your driver to take you to a well-regarded local place on the way back to the city. Try classic Shaanxi dishes like Biang Biang Noodles or a Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger).

Afternoon (2:30 PM - 5:00 PM): The Ancient City Wall

・Head to the Xi'an City Wall - the most complete city wall that has survived in China. I recommend entering at the South Gate (Yongning Gate), which is the most grand.
・Cycling (Highly Recommended): Rent a bike and cycle the full 14-kilometer circumference (takes about 1.5-2 hours at a leisurely pace). It's a fantastic and unique experience.
・Walking: A pleasant walk on a section of the wall is also enjoyable, offering great photo opportunities of the old city.

Late Afternoon / Evening (5:30 PM onwards): The Muslim Quarter & Bell Tower

・5:30 PM: From the South Gate, it's a short walk or one subway stop to the Bell Tower. You can admire it from the roundabout or go inside before heading to the Muslim Quarter.
・6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Immerse yourself in the vibrant, sensory explosion of the Muslim Quarter. This is the perfect time to experience it as the lanterns light up.
・Food Adventure: This is your dinner! Go on a street food crawl. Must-try snacks include:
・Yang Rou Pao Mo (Crumbled Flatbread in Mutton Stew)
・Various kebabs and skewers

・Shopping: Explore the small shops selling souvenirs, crafts, and dried fruits.
