Wedding ceremony on the elephant’s back on Valentine’s Day in Thailand?

The Elephant National Institute (Thai Elephant Conservation Center) at Hang Chat District, Lampang is organizing the wedding ceremony on the elephant’s back on the upcoming Velentine’s Day. The orgnaizer welcome every couples to join this once-in-a-life-time wedding ceremony for an impressive experiences for new lovers or married couples. The ceremony is aimed to preserve the Lanna traditional wedding ceremony as well as to make people concern about Thai elephant conservation.
Thai elephants, the symbol of Thailand is brought into the ceremony to be the love witness as it is believed that the elephant will bring the roserious life to the couple. The ceremony will be held in northern Lanna style which consists of the elephant procession, the golden-silver marriage entrance surrounded by beautiful nature of the Thai Elephant Conversation Center in Lampang.
