TG will operate commercial flights to the new Suvarnabhumi Airport on July 29 2006

Thai Airways International have announced that they will operate three commercial flights to the new Suvarnabhumi Airport on July 29 2006 as follows:

* Special flight TG# 1881 : Suvarnabhumi Airport - Phuket
   Departing Suvarnabhumi Airport at 9.19 a.m.
   Arriving at Phuket Airport at 10.39 a.m.
   Aircraft used:  747-400

* Special flight TG# 1882 : Phuket - Suvarnabhumi Airport  
   Departing Phuket Airport at 11.29 a.m.
   Arriving at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 12.59 p.m.
   Aircraft used:  747-400

* Special flight TG# 2772 : Chiang Mai - Suvarnabhumi Airport - Phuket
   Departing Chiang Mai Airport at 11.19 a.m.
   Arriving at Suvarnbhumi Airport at 12.29 p.m.
   Departing Suvarnabhumi Airport at 1.29 p.m.
   Arriving Phuket Airport at 2.49 p.m.
   Aircraft used:  747-400

I heard the special fares for these special flights will be at THB 999.00 per person but no confirmation was made for how many seats are allocated for this fare (and the rest will be at normal fare of TG!). Will keep you posted once further news are available.

Domestic flights increase within Vietnam

Vietnam Airlines has recently announced its flight schedule up until August 2006 that offers more flights on domestic routes.

From earlier this month, Vietnam Airlines introduced one more flight per day on the Ho Chi Minch City - Danang route. It will also add four flights per week on the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City (Hue stop-over) route, starting from July 01 2006. All new flights will depart in the evening on Airbus A320/321 aircraft.
