Good Japanese Restaurant Recommended in Bangok “Kanon”

Last night we had a chance to eat at “Kanon“, the Japanese restaurant recommended to us by a Japanese friend of ours. Everything that we have ordered such as seafood salad, pork with ginger, deep-fried eggplants with cheese etc. are all excellent and very tasty. Very important to note that its prices are very reasonable too.

Atmosphere?
Well - its contemporary modern and simple. Nothing fancy but very clean (think its one of the reason why food is not so expensive here as they did not have much of the interior decoration!).

Where is it?
“Kanon” is located off Sukhumvit 33/1 (very near to Villa Supermarket) on the same entrance to Blockbuster VDO shop. If you enter from main Sukhumvit Road, the shop is located on the 2nd floor of Tokyo Optical Shop. If you come by BTS Sky Train - get off at Prompong Station and walk back towards Asoke Intersection (on the opposite side of Emporium Department Store).

The restaurant is opened for lunch and dinner every day from 11.30 a.m. - 2.00 p.m. and 5.30 p.m.-10.30 p.m. Tel: 02-662-3128

I know Bangkok is not the best place for authentic Japanese food but this one is certainly worth a try if you are Japanese food lover and are looking for some non-Thai food for a change while you are here!
